The Mermaid Gown Face-Off

At the same event (BAFTA Awards 2009) Kate Winslet & Amy Adams both wore a mermaid gown. Kate Winslet wore Zac Posen & Amy Adams wore Roland Mouret.

Hollywood's power couple (Brangelina) attended the BAFTA Awards in London. Angelina wore a strapless neon yellow & black Armani Prive Spring 2009 Couture dress & heeled with black pumps that may be by Christian Louboutin. As of Brad, what's with the black scarf?

Sharon Stone looked dazzling in her lucious red John Galliano Spring 2009 gown. And those T-strap pumps are a great accent towards this dress.

Freida looked absolutely ravishing & I have to say best dressed of the night goes to her. She wore a pale pink Oscar de la Renta Resort 2009 gown & added sparkles with a colorful chandelier necklace.

Marisa Tomei wore a one-shouldered asymmetrical Etro Spring 2009 gown.

Penelope was back in black again after the disastrous ensemble at the Pre-BAFTA Party. This black, velvet, cross-shouldered gown was an improvement; but wasn't as great though. Hair, makeup, & jewels were fabulous but it's time to change it up now. Agree?

After the fab appearance at the Pre-BAFTA Party this looks falls flat for me. The hair & makeup looks good on her but this dress falls flat for me; maybe because of the bordered neckline. What do you say?

Finch & Partners' Pre-BAFTA Party

Penelope went the all black way & I have to say it's not chic at all. Though I love the bangs on her & those Christian Louboutin boots are to die for.

As of Lily Allen, she added a dash of color at this event & I should say very chic & great accessories !

Thandie Newton wore a Chanel Resort 2009 one-shouldered, asymmetrical dress & accessorized it with a black clutch & some gorgeous embellished shoes.

On the other hand Freida Pinto looked great as usual. She wore a ruffled Chanel Spring 2008 Couture haltered dress paired with a black clutch & black pumps.

Emma Watson also wore a navy Chanel dress from the Fall 2008 Couture collection. I should say this dress is very age appropriate for her & looks stunning.

Too Much "Hannah"

At the 2009 Golden Globe Awards, "Hannah Montana" walked the red carpet instead of Miley Cyrus wearing Marchesa. Recently she walked the red carpet again at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Party fairing much better in Cavalli. The beautiful print on the dress gets lost with her hair & this look doesn't seem very age appropriate for a 16 year old. Hopefully she'll get it right next time. Which look would you prefer?

The star of "Slumdog Millionaire," Freida Pinto is rising high with her success & sure has photographers flashing at her on the red carpet. After seeing her at various events she definitely hasn't disappoint at all. Freida is the one to look out for this year.

"Victory" Premiere

Amrita Rao: As the film's leading lady shes doesn't quite disappoint. The coral pink gown looks great on her but she should've did something with her hair.

Priyanka Chopra: This former Miss World(2000) was dressed in a black laced top, white pencil skirt, & some gorgeous shoes didn't disappoint at all with that gorgeous bod of hers.

Jiah Khan: The shirt dress with the belt did some justice but wished she'd skip the shoes & added some color.

Sophie Chaudhary: The ruched Bebe LBD didnt fit well towards her body, though the shoes were great. You can buy the Bebe Shirred Dress on Ebay!

Sameera Reddy: Ms. Reddy wore a black/white floral, print dress & was a little safe; but still managed to look good.

Sridevi: This legendary actress looked absolutely beautiful from head to toe dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana LBD from the "Dolce & Gabbana Pre-Fall 2008 Collection" paired with black pumps, plaid clutch, and minimal jewelery.

Aarti Chabria: Such a pretty face but what a disastrous dress. They're to many rosettes on the dress & why get a shoe with rosettes!

Sushmita Sen: Former Miss Universe(1994) totally disappoints. The shiny, metallic blue & sheer top! Why? I have to say the only good thing was the Fendi Mini B Patent Bag.
